Platform Requirements
Nordia Media Manager and other Nordia Java software can be installed on Apple, Windows, Linux/Unix environments and supports both Safari and Internet Explorer Web Browsers.
Supported Databases
Nordia supports most major ANSCII SQL compliant databases. MySQL is free and recommended for smaller installations with less transactions and reporting needs.
Oracle Database (Including 12g)
Oracle pricing depends on the deployment platform, number of users and database recovery and performance needs. Oracle is recommended for larger software installations, or where an existing Oracle environments are already in place.

Nordia also specialises in Oracle Software and always coordinate with existing in-house teams or external providers to avoid new database installations or hardware. Leveraging existing database environments should always be done whenever possible to avoid duplication or increased support costs.
Web Servers
Nordia software runs on Apache Application Server and most J2ee/Java compliant containers. As with database technology, Nordia recommends using existing platforms when practical to do so.
Database and System Recovery
Nordia will work with in house or existing suppliers to design an appropriate recovery backup and recovery strategy. We have found that every client has different needs and requirements in this area and therefore tailored solutions are always preferred.
